BEASLEY FAMILY TREE: As early as 1823, the name of Beasley appeared in the history of the Ames area when George Beasley (age 12) with his parents, John and Elizabeth Beasley, came from Virginia and settled in Bern Township. Here, George attended the subscription schools and remained in the family home until he was nineteen. He married Mary A. Gardner in 1830, who was a daughter of the Ames pioneer Thomas Gardner. George was an energetic man and became a successful farmer and stock-raiser. https://ancstry.me/2CfNUvR

GIFFORD FAMILY TREE: 
With hundreds of acres in farmland and the donation of land in Amesville to create Gifford Park Frank Gifford was a well known resident of Amesville. Also, his donation of land near Sharpsburg created the Gifford State Forest with an exceptional array of native wildflowers.    https://ancstry.me/2QD5HSQ

HENRY FAMILY TREE:  1763-1854 John Henry, the second child of Robert and Mary Henry, was born in Derry County, Ireland, in March, 1763. His mother's name was Woodburn. He came to America in 1788, landing at Philadelphia, near where he remained about three years, working most of the time on a farm in Chester County.  https://ancstry.me/2AK0rHZ
